Brenda's design journey is deeply rooted in her Naples, FL upbringing, born into a first-generation immigrant family. The early spark of her passion for design was ignited by her father's involvement in the construction industry. She fondly recalls moments of him poring over blueprints, a sight that fascinated her and sparked her interest in the intricate design layout, functionality, and features of homes.
Initially drawn to a career in architecture, Brenda's journey took a different turn, leading her to Southwest Florida College for a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Despite numerous responsibilities, Brenda's unwavering drive propelled her toward her goals. Throughout and after college, she honed her skills through internships at various local design firms, gaining valuable experience in fabric selections, finishes, and home dressing.
Post-graduation, Brenda transitioned into a design assistant role at London Bay Homes, deepening her knowledge in design layout, selections, hard finishes, and construction. Combining her passion for construction and interior design, she took on the role of Project Manager at her family's company. Here, she acquired extensive expertise, managing projects, overseeing construction, and collaborating closely with renowned builders in the area.
Despite her immersion in construction, Brenda's love for interior design persisted. Joining Shape of Wicker allowed her to channel her creativity into crafting custom outdoor furniture. Currently, she continues to contribute to the sales and production of outdoor furniture and accessories.
Building on this diverse foundation, Brenda embarked on the entrepreneurial path with the launch of Casa Interior Designs. With a genuine commitment to cultivating personal styles for each client, she aspires to create an exceptional design experience from inception to completion.
